What starter habitat theme felt easiest to build around?

I kept restarting my first major district until I stopped comparing two moods and committed to one little neighborhood. Woodland cozy finally clicked for me, but I want to hear what worked for everybody else.

I spent my first few nights trying to choose between a woodland lane and a waterside workshop. Both looked good in screenshots, but every time I started placing furniture I felt like I was building two districts at once and finishing neither.

What finally helped was shrinking the question. Instead of asking what my whole island should become, I asked what one tiny district should feel like when I walked through it at the end of a session. Woodland cozy won because it forgave my mistakes. Trees hid awkward edges, lighting looked nice without much effort, and the route between crafting and resting felt natural.

Now I am curious what other people picked for their first habitat theme, especially if it made creature attraction easier without making the island feel repetitive.

Woodland cozy gave me the most room to improvise. It also hid my early routing mistakes better.

Waterside workshop was stronger once I committed to one clear view and stopped crowding the shoreline.
